Amazing opportunity with room for growth and career advancement. Global manufacturing firm seeking to hire for openings at their Lehigh Valley plant.

Things to know about this role:

Location: Easton, PA (Lehigh Valley)

Relocation: N/A

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 + fantastic benefits and annual bonus

Shift: 1st Shift

Education and Experience:

- Associates degree in a mechanical electrical field OR 3 years of vocational-technical trade school along with a high school diploma/GED.

- Minimum of five years of mechanical manufacturing experience in a high-speed process/packaging equipment environment.

- Alternatively, five years of combined mechanical manufacturing support experience along with mechanical electrical education.

Requirements

Candidates should possess expertise in at least four of the following areas:

1. Welding: Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.

2. Machining: Experience in operating and maintaining machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC machinery.

3. Pipe Fitting: Skill in assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems for industrial applications.

4. Plumbing: Knowledge of industrial plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

5. Metal Fabrication: Ability to work with metal materials, cutting, bending, and shaping components as needed.

6. HVAC: Familiarity with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in an industrial setting.

7. PLC Editing/Troubleshooting: Proficiency in programming, editing, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

8. Industrial Electricity: Understanding of industrial electrical systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

9. Specialized Maintenance:

- Perform specialized maintenance tasks related to welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, HVAC, PLCs, and industrial electricity.

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address unique challenges associated with specific equipment and systems.

10. Skill Integration:

- Integrate knowledge and skills from multiple areas to provide comprehensive mechanical electrical support in a manufacturing environment.

- Cross-train in areas not initially covered to enhance versatility within the maintenance team.
