Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Siemens Process Simulate or Tecnomatix for robotic simulation
- Prior experience in robotic programming and engineering, preferably with hands-on knowledge of robot programming languages
- Strong understanding of robotic systems and automation processes
- Availability for a 3-6 month onsite project in Flint, MI, with the potential for extension based on the candidate's robot background
- Willingness to work on-site and ability to commute to Flint, MI
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey simulation results and collaborate with team members
Typical Duties
- Utilize Siemens Process Simulate or Tecnomatix to create and optimize robotic simulations for various manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Integrate robotic programming knowledge to enhance the accuracy and realism of simulations
- Validate and verify simulation results against real-world scenarios to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Document simulation processes, methodologies, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing
