Job description

Position Overview

The Director of Operations works closely with the partners to assist with operational logistical and financial duties.

The Director is responsible for total operations and P&L of all of stores as they open including all aspects of financial performance staff management and adherence to operating standards to ensure overall success. He or she will also have the opportunity to be involved in the development of new locations. The Director will work to develop strategies to control labor costs and ensure quality assurance. Once stores are open the Director will be responsible for all inventory management and accountability processes involving retail operations. Additionally he or she will help maintain a high level of standards including service levels food quality and overall execution of operations.

OPERATIONS:

Examine all production processes (BOH and FOH) and further standardize a scalable model

Train incoming franchisees and Corp store management

New Store opening oversight

Oversight of QSC and maintaining a standard of excellence in all stores

Establish best practices for emerging beverage brand

Review SOP and current training tools and update

Evaluate the current training program to be used for future corporate and franchisees

Institute audit and compliance program for franchise and Corp stores

Vendor review and meetings and provide continuous improvement research potential new products and processes to ensure consistency and costeffective methods

Work with the leadership team to develop and implement a successful customer loyalty program

TEAM DEVELOPMENT:

Hire new store management and set expectations for team development

Provide hiring criteria and oversee best practices with store management team

Assist in developing Rising Stars for future growth

Provide incentives and other tools to build culture and lower turnover

Work with management team to lower costs

Requirements

Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant operations and all functional support areas, including HR, training, marketing, finance, and development Strong desire for excellence in guest service Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven
