Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and guidance to programs across the agency using continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position also has a strong role with compliance, ensuring employees and processes are compliant with grant, contract, and CARF accreditation regulations.

Essential Functions:
• Support Directors/Managers in documenting program policies and procedures and maintain electronic policies and procedures
• Coordinate and participate in all internal program reviews, including the development and follow-up on Program Development Plans
• Oversee submission of funder and internal reports for timely and accurate submission
• Support Data Systems Specialist in ensuring strong data quality
• Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance with agency training requirements
• Create and maintain systems for ensuring compliance with documentation of Medicaid services
• Monitor compliance with CARF accreditation throughout the agency
o Implement tracking and reporting systems to maintain compliance with CARF accreditation, state, and federal standards and requirements
o Provide support to staff in understanding and meeting CARF standards
o Assist the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer in preparing for CARF surveys
• Participate in quality assurance projects secured outside of the agency
• Search for opportunities to secure QA contracted work outside the agency
• Oversee Quality Assurance interns

• Serve as Quality Assurance representative on the agency's Safety Committee
• Other duties as assigned to assure successful operations

Qualifications:
• Bachelors' Degree required
• Experience in Quality Assurance preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong analytical and logic skills required
• Strong attention to detail
• High levels of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and desire to work as part of a team; identify with and support the mission of New Reach
