AP Analyst to join the finance department.
AP Analyst Responsibilities:- Navigate the steps of invoice verification, coding and processing, ensuring alignment with the company's policies and procedures
- Engage in open dialogue with vendors, resolving discrepancies, addressing inquiries and building relationships based on trust and reliability
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions, exhibiting precision in identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Lead the team in the month-end closing process, providing accurate and timely financial information that supports decision-making
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, seeking out automation and efficiency gains that elevate the AP function
- Maintain rigorous adherence to internal controls and financial reporting requirements, ensuring readiness for audits
AP Analyst Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and AP processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
