Director of Sales (Assisted Living)
Qualifications
- 2+ years progressive experience in Marketing and/or Sales
- Healthcare background preferred
- Experience working with seniors in a private-pay setting preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft business software with aptitude in Excel, data gathering, data analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong independent contributor AND collaborative team player
In this role, you will: - Implement and coordinate all property sales related activities.
- Develop and implement community events to increase awareness of the property
- Conduct outreach to the local area to prospective Residents, Resident Family Members and Community Leadership.
- Build referral partner relationships to include local Physicians, Senior Centers and Adult Day Programs, Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Community Leaders.
- Follows up on inquiries, leading them toward application and residency. This includes conducting individual and group tours, telephone calls, letters, individual and group information sessions on/off site.
- Fulfills written expectations for sales activity, including consistent follow-up, phone calls, tours, and closing of sales.
- Meets or exceeds the sales activity and budgeted financial indicators and expectations as directed. Develops and implements a census development plans in conjunction with Executive Director.
- In conjunction with Executive Director, Assisted Living; ensures processing of all residency applications and forms required for completion of applicant files. Assures resident financial information is complete and accurate
- Maintains records related to sales activity, documents all sales activities within approved CRM software.
- Deliver service excellence throughout each perspective customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University preferred or equivalent work experience and education required.
- Two years of professional experience, preferably in sales, senior living sales and marketing, or real estate. Preferred experiences in assisted living sales or marketing.
- Must have the ability to travel locally to attend functions, network within the community, create and implement events, and work occasional weekends and holidays.
- This individual should be self-motivated and creative, possessing a high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to the public in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of the assisted living lifestyle is necessary.
