Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We're seeking a Business Analyst with a background in healthcare, particularly in serving individuals with special needs. Your primary responsibility will be translating and documenting technical information for business and program understanding, ensuring clarity and consistency across stakeholder groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare-related industries, preferably in special needs services.
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business systems and processes.
- Ability to write business and functional requirements, test plans, training guides, and deployment plans.
- Familiarity with developing use cases, context diagrams, and descriptions of data elements.
- Experience managing projects using established PM methodologies.
- Competence in performing business analysis for applications developed in JAVA or similar environments.
- Skilled in facilitating requirements gathering sessions and conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with high-level staff in the public sector.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, including defining test plans and managing defect resolution.
- A-CSM (Advanced Certified ScrumMaster) certification preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
