Job description
Zero Labs is on a mission to bring Premium Classic Vehicles into the modern world through electrification. We are looking for a high-energy individual to be our next Workplace Manager. What you will do:
- Foster great morale by providing a clean, efficient, fun, and engaging workspace for our team to do their best work.
- Act as the first impression of the company for in-person and on-call meetings with investors, clients, and general public.
- Create and actively manage utilities, mail, janitorial, waste/recycling and other services to ensure an optimal environment.
- Manage and deliver to the needs of site stakeholders, including workstation planning and setup, employee onboarding, events, and day-to-day upkeep of Zero Labs standards.
- Work closely with leadership on growth planning to define future workplace needs, expansion plans, and coordination.
- Plan and facilitate workplace calendars, events, celebrations, and strive to deliver work worthy of compliment.
- Ensure compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards and postings in the workplace and shop floor.
- Provide basic technical support for office equipment and facilities maintenance/repair.
- Conduct and/or coordinate office errands on behalf of the team.
- Establish and work within budgets, create processes, and improve our practices that keep future scale in mind.

Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Experience and attitude matter.
- 5+ years of managing a workplace operation, hospitality, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Outstanding intrapersonal skills and drive to delight teammates and clients while being financially responsible. You anticipate needs and solve problems in the workplace that distract from the mission so others don't have to.
- Answer and return phone calls/emails and providing basic customer service, and ability to direct questions appropriately.
- Working knowledge of the services required to "keep the lights on" such as janitorial, utilities, phones, etc. with a high degree in pride in work outcomes.
- Solid understanding of Quickbooks and budget management.
- Superior documentation and organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- A high degree of discretion and professionalism are required due to the high profile nature of employees and clients.
- A positive, self-starting attitude that works well with others, can be accountable to customers, and hold others accountable.
