Job description
Kimley-Horn's Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) o ffice is seeking a Civil Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join tourr Land Development team! This is not a remote position.
- Oversee planning, design, and implementation of land development projects including: residential, commercial, and industrial developments
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives, develop scope and budget, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs
- Conduct techncial analyses, prepare design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and over see construction administration activities
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the firm's land development capabilities
- Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and maintain positive working relationships
- Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects
- Lead and manage multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Establish project goals, objectives, and milestones, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project budgets and resources, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project outcomes
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- 6+ years of experience in relevant engineering, including hands-on design, and project management
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the state of Colorado
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of succesful project delivery, with a focus on land development
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
- Ability to effectively guide staff in preparing plan sets and construction documents for land development projects
Salary Range:
- $110,000 - $155,000
- Eligible for Performance Based Bonuses
