Role Overview:
As the Project Manager at a Data and Analytics Consulting Firm, you will be responsible for managing scope, risk and deliverables on key data warehousing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths, and preparing risk management strategies.
- Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.
- Building, developing, and growing any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conducting project post mortems and creating a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Resolving project issues and risks to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications - A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation to completion.
Auxiliary Qualifications
- Experience with tools like Github or JIRA
