This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Assistant Director of Information Technology and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois. 

This position manages the College network infrastructure including the wireless network. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing of all network-based hardware, software, and communications links.
• Security of College network infrastructure, including administration of firewalls, spam filters, anti-virus, and intrusion prevention and detection.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree/3-5 years’ experience and/or appropriate credentials recommended. Certifications in N+ and S+, Cisco or comparable certification preferred.
