Job description
The Order Management Support position encompasses but is not limited to, data entry, ticket updates, field customer relationships, pricing and product ordering, scheduling, and troubleshooting customer field issues.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with customers in the field
- Keep accurate records and ensure customer receives correct product on time
- Maintain accurate pricing to ensure proper billing
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Confirm schedules with the customer
- Change dates and product release, according to customer schedule
- Track products through supply chain, updating records, and updating the customer
- Product updates within tickets
- Obtaining Purchase and Change Orders from customer before material is ordered
- Quote and order product, when appropriate
- Help to solve customer issues
- Update and maintain customer-specific reports
- Offer support to surrounding team members
Required Experience and Skills
- Multitasking and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to fine detail while working at a quick pace
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to changes
- Experience or knowledge of building trades a plus!
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
