JOB PROFILE
The Learning and Development Facilitator implements learning programs through business initiatives in accordance with company strategy. Through various methods of delivery, the Learning and Development Facilitator develops soft skills training for new and tenured employees at varying levels of the organization. The Learning and Development Facilitator operates both independently, as well as in collaboration with others to effectively lead and manage classes, adapting to changing priorities and environments as needed. The Learning and Development Facilitator may support one or more phases of the curriculum design process for company programming and training.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs for employees.

Evaluate the training needs by interviewing staff and managers.

Administers and reviews progress on assessments.

Handles training sessions that employees undergo.

Creates materials for the training sessions.

Measures training effectiveness based on student validation exams and feedback.

Oversees the maintenance of records of curriculum and materials.

Gather reports on the quality of training from trainees, managers, and instructors.

Arranges activities including in-house and off-site locations like presentations, role-playing exercises, etc.

Engage trainees in your training process with the help of visual aids and improved courses.

Participates and assists in the development and implementation of plans.

Facilitate participant-led discussions around training presentations/materials.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Must be an outgoing people person, comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups.

Must have the ability to manage multiple projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Prior experience in a similar role (preferred)

Must be able to travel to branch locations with occasional overnight stays.
