Our seven physician G.I. group in Central New York is actively seeking two additional gastroenterologists to meet the needs of our very busy all G.I. practice. Physicians will enjoy a diverse medical community with a large population of patients waiting to be seen, and an extensive referral base. Much of the new physicians time will be spent in our state-of-the-art award-winning Endoscopy Center with in-house anesthesia, pathology lab, CAT scanner, and infusion suite. One in nine weeks will be spent as G.I. hospitalist covering the two local hospitals along with two mid levels. Call will be one in nine weeks with mid-level"s taking first call making for a generally easy on call evening. The practice currently has eight excellent mid-level providers. Our new physician will quickly be earning in the top 5% of GIs nation-wide. Due to how our hospital rotation is structured, most days are 8 AM to 4:30 PM making for plenty of free time and an excellent quality of life. Situated between Boston and Manhattan our area boasts medium sized city amenities, many attractive suburbs with affordable spacious homes, and award winning public schools. There is a top 10 ranked liberal arts college and 4 other institutions of higher learning in the immediate area. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside characterized by it"s bucolic rolling-hills and only 45 minutes from the Adirondack State Park and lakes offering plenty of hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling opportunities. The region is currently undergoing a technology boom but maintains its desirable features including the absence of any snarling traffic. Our patients are very appreciative of their care and keep us as the premier G.I. group within a 90 mile radius.
