Position Summary The Manager of Financial Reporting and Accounting will report directly to the Corporate Controller and be an integral part of the Corporate accounting team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for driving the process pertaining to the Company’s SEC Filings (Forms 10K, 10Q, 8K, DEF 14A (Proxy), Form 3 and 4, and other SEC related filings as needed), ensuring adherence to all financial statement disclosure requirements in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, maintenance of financial reporting records, performance of certain monthly and quarterly close responsibilities including, but not limited to the accounting for stock-based compensation, the computation of earnings per share and coordination and completion of select footnotes and associated support, along with the processing of net settlements associated with employee share based compensation.
Responsibilities - Support the external reporting process surrounding the rollforward, production and update and tie-out of Form 10K and 10Q drafts for distribution within the external reporting process,
- Responsible for stock-based compensation accounting, including preparation of journal entries for periodic expense
- Responsible for preparation of the stock-based compensation and earnings per share footnotes and associated support.
- Coordinate the tagging of the financial information in the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) format for required SEC filings,
- Prepare quarterly disclosure checklists (GAAP and SEC)
- Coordinate the filing of Forms: (i) 10K and 10Q (quarterly); (ii) 8K as needed; (iii) DEF 14A Proxy (annual); (iv) Form 3 and 4; and (iv) other SEC Filings as deemed necessary,
- Collaborate with all Corporate Departments (AP, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Payroll) as it relates to Corporate reporting related matters,
- Review of net settlement calculations in coordination with payroll team related to the vesting of employee share based compensation,
- Prepare and coordinate the timely submission of the U.S. Census reporting requirements,
- Coordinate and respond timely to Internal and External Auditor requests and deadlines,
- Special projects, ad hoc requests as needed, such as supporting implementation of new accounting standards.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting,
- Active CPA license required
- 5-7 years of total accounting experience, with a minimum 3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred),
- Very strong understanding of GAAP
- Very strong analytical skills,
- Understanding XBRL tagging and Workiva SEC Reporting Tool a plus
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment and see tasks through to completion,
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal,
- Effective time management skills,
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to establish effective internal and external relationships
- Must have shown upward mobility in prior work experience(s)
Education: - Bachelor of Science degree or Master’s degree in accounting
