Job description

Position Overview: Electrical Project Managers are responsible for managing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of electrical systems within commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This position requires a broad knowledge of electrical systems and a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and understanding project plans and specifications.
• Developing budgets, cash flow management, and project scheduling.
• Managing change orders and buyouts.
• Directing the activities of the electrical team.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
• Managing the quality assurance process.
• Providing pre-job planning and permitting.
• Managing as-built drawings and operations manuals.
• Assisting with contract review and troubleshooting.
• Coordinating inspections and close-out.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical contracting, commercial construction, industrial construction, electrical systems, MEP, NEC, electrical construction, retail, municipal, public works, federal, construction, healthcare, medical, higher ed, educational, K-12, hotel, hospitality, addition, ground-up, volts, renovation, journeyman electrician, master electrician, electrical, electric, electrician, project manager, pre-construction, budgeting, cash flow management, scheduling, change orders, buyouts, quality assurance, pre-job planning, customer service, permit acquisition, OSHA-mandated requirements, licensing, inspection coordination, close-out, as-built drawings, operations manuals, contract review, troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision making, communication, Microsoft Office Suite, Accubid, Spectrum., low voltage, power, high voltage, energy, renewable, project management, utility construction, data centers, data center, and commercial electrical.
