A Cherry On Top Crafts is currently looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant.
What You’d Be Doing:
As a Marketing Assistant, you would be working with our Marketing Director to help grow and expand our business and our customer base. This could include various tasks such as:
Our marketing team is small right now, so we have lots of opportunities for different types of work, and we’re willing to adjust this role to the strengths of the right applicant.
About Us:
We’re a small family business that sells a BIG variety of craft supplies! We’ve been around for more than 20 years and have something for just about everyone, from scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies, to yarn and paint. We ship worldwide from acherryontop.com, and we also have a small storefront attached to our warehouse in Saginaw, MI. We pride ourselves on caring about our employees, working hard, and fulfilling our mission to inspire and support crafters in their creative journey.
Who We’re Looking For:
To be an ideal candidate for this position, you need to be creative, analytical, and proactive, with a passion for marketing and a strong attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. In particular, we need you to have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
You’ll need to be able to work on several projects at once (both collaboratively and by yourself), and quickly learn about our business and industry while doing it. You need to be tech-savvy, comfortable with digital marketing tools and the devices and software needed to use them. We’d like you to have a degree in marketing, art, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
We’d love it if you already have experience in the crafting world (particularly with paper crafts), but as long as you’re willing to learn about our products, we can work with you.
