Job description
The Compensation and Benefits Sr. Specialist will be responsible for the design, administration and compliance of all compensation and benefits programs and processes as well as support cross-functional ad hoc HR activities as assigned.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
Administration and compliance for benefit programs in US and Canada including health, life, disability, and retirement plans.
Primary contact with brokers and plan providers to ensure efficient administration of benefit plans.
Research, analyze and recommend new benefit program for company to remain competitive and manage costs.
Manage Open Enrollment system (ADP) set-up and communication.
Understand, interpret, and effectively communicate benefit plan provisions, policies, programs, process, and practice as the escalation point.
Ensures the organizations’ and plans’ compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA, ACA, FMLA, etc.
Work with third party vendors to complete annual 401(k) audit and Section 125 testing.
Supports incentive payment and merit increase process.
Develop and maintain salary range structures.
Perform pay equity, FLSA and other analyses to ensure compensation processes comply with current market regulations.
Benchmark jobs against published survey(s) and other market data. Recommend competitive compensation for each position.
Work with Payroll Specialist to provide back up for payroll processing.
Collaborates with legal and finance department as necessary.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related discipline.
Min 7 years experience in a benefits and compensation role is required.
Experience working for a global company (US, Canada, LATAM).
Hands on experience with HRIS (SAP) and payroll systems (ADP).
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including advanced Excel.
Attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
