Job description

In the automotive industry, conduct analysis to capture requirements for specific programs by reviewing and analyzing technical specifications documentation and asking questions of the software or release team. Design software though coding and conduct static testing, unit testing, integration testing as per company’s compliant with Automotive Software Performance Improvement and Capability Determination (ASPICE) software development lifecycle (SDLC). Utilize software development activities tools for Embedded Systems Design, Development, Debugging, Code Generally, Flashing, root causing. Review code and design generated by others to ensure technical quality and compliance as per the Industry standards. Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of Embedded System resources like Memory utilization, Task optimization, Init and De-init times. Provide pre-production and postproduction support to NSI manufacturing and customer validation teams in case of software defects by either intrusive or non-intrusive methods. Collaborate with HW and System and Validation Teams for Fault Tree purposes and acting as subject matter expert for the designed software. Plan, create, and maintain all software development schedules to meet customer and manufacturing milestones. Track and report all software issues to the software design team for corrective action. Document customer software functionality in cases where they do not exist to define general functionality to provide fundamental interaction procedures. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twenty-four (24) months in job or job related experience to include, in the automotive industry, job duties listed above.
