Job description

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is seeking a team member to serve as a Resource Connector to join our Mission Services team.

In this role, you will cultivate relationships and provide resources and support to individuals in need. Resources will include transportation, housing, access to healthcare, as well as other social, cultural, and environmental conditions that impact the individual's life.

You will assume primary responsibility for providing case management services, social services navigation, coaching, and other support services to the employees of local providers who are enrolled in the Prosperity at Work program. You will help identify areas of need and will work with the individual to identify goals and develop plans to address challenges and barriers to help the individual maintain employment.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, business, or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience providing case management services and a High School Diploma or equivalent will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Licensure as a Social Worker in the State of Ohio is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with 5 or fewer points and automotive insurance. Must regularly provide the agency with proof of valid auto insurance.
• Travel is required within communities served and may include transporting the individual served as necessary.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Works a flexible and varying schedule that may include nights or weekends as determined by the needs of the individual served.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks that change often.Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
