Husson University is seeking to compile a pool of well-qualified, experienced, and student-oriented world languages instructors interested in future part-time teaching opporunities. Such opportunities are dependent upon the needs of the University. Assignments may require teaching day, evening, or online classes as needed. Prospective instructors with experience in any world language are encouraged to apply. Examples of Duties
Normal duties associated with teaching a college language course, including preparing lessons, choosing instructional materials, delivering the classes, and grading rigorously. The successful candidate must be willing to work cooperatively, following standards for course content and outcomes. This includes using Husson’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and email system. Given Husson University’s mission as a professions-oriented institution, the successful applicant will show appreciation for the place of language education within professional curricula.
Typical QualificationsMA in a world language or a BA with mastery of the language. Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred.

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*

Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour*
*Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
