Job Description

As a Material Handler, your primary responsibilities include managing the storage and dispensing of parts and materials required for the kitting process. You will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the stock department, handling routine queries and issues, and fostering open communication with other departments. Your duties will include receiving, logging and storing parts and materials in the Kardex system, completing all necessary documentation in accordance with company policy, retrieving parts from inventory or notifying relevant personnel if requested parts are unavailable, and organizing and maintaining the stock room area to company standards. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining logical locations for all containers and accessories needed to perform this function, and communicating respectfully with co-workers to maintain a healthy teamwork environment.

Hard Skills

• Material handling or warehouse experience - at least 6 months
• Ability to work with computers and do some data entry.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 7:00 - 3:30 in an air-conditioned environment. You will be working with a Kardex system for pulling small parts orders and kitting for assembly. Overtime work is available. The work environment is within an electronic cable manufacturing setting.
