Planted Earth Landscaping, Inc. is a unique Residential Landscape Contracting and Maintenance company who works with the regions most talented Landscape Architects installing and maintaining some of the premier landscapes in Maryland, Virginia, & Washington D.C. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a role as a Landscape Installation Estimator. The role of the Estimator will be to assist the Landscape Installation Sales team with the Estimating process and the Landscape Installation Division staff with tasks that will improve with the efficiency of the Division as a whole. Applicants should be passionate about plants and the outdoors, are always seeking knowledge, and conducts them self in a professional manner. We are looking for candidates who are interested in joining a company with which they can grow.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Understand entire scope of project/Estimate
• Complete Take-Offs
• Data entry of estimate
• Attend site meetings with LA to develop Estimate/Bid
• Identify and request proposals for ALL subcontracted work
• Manage bids from all vendors/subs
• Prepare sub-agreements
• Establish and maintain working relationships with venors and subs
• Permitting and Miss-Utilities 
• Ensuring their craftsmanship is performed at the highest level of quality, safety, and efficiency

Requirements:

• Highly motivated individual, self-driven and detail oriented
• Experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMN or Aspire Green Industry estimating software and other office administrative software
• 3-5 years field experience within the Green Industry
• Organized and the ability to prioritize
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Punctual and dependable
