Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: - Active NH State Physical Therapist License Required
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Preferred
- 2+ years of Physical Therapist Experience is Preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric conditions and pediatric physical therapy.
Specific Core Function: Provide Physical Therapy services to students Preschool through Grade 12 as determined through IEP's and 504 Plans. Develop treatment plans and implement appropriate therapy strategies to ensure students can physically access education resources. The Physical Therapist will also be responsible for the supervision of PT Assistants.
General Responsibilities: - Participate on the Individual Education Plan (IEP) team to establish goals, objectives and the length of time required to achieve the goals.
- Schedule and deliver the physical therapy interventions with students as determined in the IEP.
- Monitor the students' progress toward goals and objectives and provide written reviews every semester.
- Maintain appropriate, confidential records and provide timely reports.
Specified Length/Hours of Position: This is an affiliated (MEA) position under the Teacher Association negotiated contract, following the school calendar with additional workshop days.
