Job description
Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Compton, CA ON-SITE
Salary: 80k-120k
Requirements: 2+ years of experience; MUST have previous hands-on machine experience
We specialize in manufacturing high-end fasteners for military industries and aerospace. We are experts when it comes to materials that have hot forge and cold/warm heading capabilities.
Recently acquired by a larger Aerospace company and will be upgrading ALL old machines in the next few months! New projects and expansion ahead.
What You Will Be Doing
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including optimizing router creation, manufacturing and design guidelines related to drawings and product engineering, Lean Six Sigma, cost reduction programs, and plant layout recommendations.
What You Need for this Position
- 2+ years in Manufacturing Engineer
- Previous hands-on machine experience; any CNC/Swiss knowledge is a huge PLUS
- AutoCAD/SolidWorks
- Continuous Improvement including Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with fasteners is a PLUS
- Project management experience is a PLUS
- College Degree in mechanical or manufacturing
