The Position

We are seeking a Renewals Specialist who will manage a renewal pipeline for existing customers across the US and is primarily responsible for ensuring successful and on-time renewals. To be successful in this role, you need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to coordinate with cross-functional teams. 

Essential Functions

• Responsible for ensuring timely renewals from our customers and channel partners.

• Own and lead the customer renewal process from quote to close working alongside sales, finance, and other cross functional stakeholders.

• Review new orders for license subscriptions and generate future SaaS opportunities.

• Coordinate with the Deployment Team on in-service dates to update forecast and communicate future renewal terms with customers and partners.

• Validate forecasted license data with actual usage to ensure accurate renewal terms.

• Conduct outbound calls and emails to make customers and channel partners aware of upcoming renewals 120/60 days in advance.

• Document all customer/partner activity for renewals, manage pipeline and forecast in Salesforce CRM.

• Identify upsell opportunities within renewing accounts and work with partners/sales managers to close.

• Foster relationships with customer base to enhance the customer experience and Getac footprint.

Required Education and Experience

• 3+ Years' experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or renewals-specific experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting or related field, required.

• Conduct product usage and account review for renewal customers and coordinate internally with the Sales and Support team to help in mitigating any potential renewal risk.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.

• Able to maintain a high level of activity, and work effectively in a results-driven culture.

• Effective in building rapport with customers.

• Must possess strong orientation to details, decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and be an effective team member.

• Strong working knowledge and proficiency with a PC, internet browsers, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and web-based tools are required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior experience working with Channel and/or Public Sector is a plus.

• Experience with Salesforce.com and NetSuite preferred.

• Experience in public safety and/or public sector is a plus.
