Part-Time After-School Teacher | Mount Pleasant

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking part-time After-School Teachers for our award-winning schools in Mount Pleasant.

Pay rate of $16-20 per hour , based on experience, education and credentials.
Flexible shifts available! Start from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Must be able to work till closing (5:30 or 6:00 p.m.)

Positions Available At:

• Sunshine House at Long Point Road
• Sunshine House at Turgot Lane (Park West)

Some Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Use curriculum studies to create lesson plans that you and your students will love. Don’t worry, we have lots of ideas to choose from.
• Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
• Provide a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Apply knowledge of child development to foster relationships with children and tailor the play-based environment.
• Have fun!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center preferred.
• Must be able to work until closing (5:30 or 6:00 p.m., based on school's schedule)
