Duties/Responsibilities: The employee will be assisting with field and lab activities. They will assist the lab scientists and students with harvesting and experimental setup, Assist the Research Professional with maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the benefit of all lab members. Washing glassware, weighing out materials, and conducting laboratory assays under supervision.

Position Summary:Will perform a variety of duties involved in the research projects and activities of Dr. Deltsidis’ research program such as fruit and vegetable crop harvesting, postharvest experiments, sample preparation in the lab, and produce quality-related analyses. Upkeep of laboratory space and data entry are also preferred skills. All tasks will be performed under the direction and supervision of the lab manager.

Ability to work effectively on an independent basis; as well as, in a team focused environment
Knowledge and skill in the operation of computers and MS Office Suite program
