To effectively deliver on the company's overall goals and objectives, the Parts person is expected to contribute to results in these areas:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Parts person will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the parts department. The individual will service walk-in customers, provide parts for the shop, and fill orders for field locations. He/she will assist shipping and receiving, as well as warehouse staff in transporting parts. This position is hourly, and reports directly to the Operations Manager.

(Parts and equipment weighing over 75 pounds or requiring greater than 75 pounds of force to push/pull will require mechanical or team assist.)

  1. Parts: stored on floor level - Up to 140 pounds
  2. Parts stored up to 5 ½ feet high - Up to 100 pounds
  3. Parts stored at 6 feet and higher - Up to 70 pounds
  4. Parts on shelving - Up to 120 force pounds to push/pull

  12. Rotation standing: (Rarely) Move large quantity of product on/off of rack
  13. Kneel: (Rarely) Move/retrieve product/parts on low racks
  14. Sitting tolerance: (Occasionally) Inventory parts, package parts for shipping, receive orders
  15. Standing tolerance: (Occasionally) Complete sales transactions, package/inventory parts/products
  16. Walking: (Occasionally) Retrieve parts/products

  18. Step ladder climbing: (Rarely) Place/retrieve parts on upper rack
  19. Right upper extremity: (Continuously) Move parts/products, package/unpack, use computer for sales transactions/inventory
