Job description
The Digital Content Editor will play a role in creating visually appealing and engaging video content to showcase the inventory and brand of our dealership across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in video editing, storytelling, photography, and video capturing, along with proficiency in Adobe Premiere or HitFilms Express.
Video Editing:
- Utilize Adobe Premiere or HitFilms Express to edit and enhance videos for promotional purposes.
- Ensure videos are in line with the dealership's branding and marketing strategies.
Photography and Video Capturing:
- Use GoPro and other relevant equipment to capture high-quality photos and videos of vehicles both on and off the dealership premises.
- Showcase the features and highlights of vehicles in an appealing manner.
Video Storytelling:
- Develop compelling narratives and storylines for promotional videos to engage the target audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with overall branding and messaging.
Social Media Skills:
- Stay updated on social media trends and algorithms to optimize content for different platforms.
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure timely and strategic posting of video content.
Content Planning and Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand promotional campaigns and upcoming events.
- Plan video content calendar to align with dealership initiatives and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere or HitFilms Express.
- Proficiency in photography and video capturing, particularly with GoPro equipment.
- Strong video storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
