Job description

Looking for a machine operator with CNC experience programming at the machine, not in a Cam or CAD driver-type program.

Duties:
Set up the equipment:

• Set up tooling.
• Set up blocking.

Maintain equipment:

• Cleaning.
• Fill oil.
• Troubleshooting.
• Reporting of maintenance needs.

Operate equipment:

• Inspect material.
• Inspect machining.
• Build test assemblies.

Make adjustments to the machine as needed to the program:

• Calculate variances based on assembled parts.

Make changes in programming to reflect corrections measured on assembled parts:

• Learn relevant material names.
• Order material.
• Order remakes.
• Call for material as the batch dates become available or as jobs are pulled up in the schedule.
• Directed by the department manager or supervisor.
