Knowledge/Skills
Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specifications
Computer skills and use of computer programs
Understands and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as required
Demonstrates the knowledge of inspection techniques and product attributes
Qualifications – Education/Experience
High school or equivalent
Basic reading, writing and math skills
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience
IPC-1620 certification a plus but not required
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
Ability to use a microscope with reticle or dazor to inspect components
Ability to measure product attributes using micrometers, calipers and tape measure
Ability to read and understand Blue Print / Drawings
Performs operations as defined by specifications
Achieve IPC-620 certification
Achieve productivity standards
Achieve quality targets
Is accountable for individual results
Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management and quality systems requirements
Physical/Environmental Requirements
Requires visual acuity (visual ability to resolve fine detail) and manual dexterity (fine hand and finger movements)
Requires limited supervision for routine processes, can implement changes with detailed instruction
Must be available for overtime work
Must be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally, and heavier weights with assistance
Must be able to wear required safety protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes and glasses
May work in a clean room environment and wear clean room attire
Must be able to work with or around chemicals
