Job description
Pharmaron (Exton) Lab Services LLC., is a preclinical Contract Research Organization located in Exton, Pennsylvania. Pharmaron provides absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET) testing services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to support drug discovery and development.
The Associate Project Manager - Cell & Gene Therapy w orks with the scientific team to develop designs for studies to support the feasibility assessment, optimization and validation of analytical methodologies utilized for Cell & Gene Therapies (CGT).
Responsibilities
- Providing scientific consultative support for preclinical testing services, primarily for CGT's.
- Fostering client account diversification and expansion in association with Sales and Marketing.
- Remaining current on global regulatory requirements and industry trends related to drug development and approval.
- Project management of active and ongoing projects.
- Draft scopes of work with associated pricing logic to support bioanalytical testing for cell and gene therapies
- Coordinate internal research projects and sponsor-driven studies to optimize service offerings and realize efficiencies
- Act as a liaison with the quality, operations, bioassay, and bioanalytical teams to ensure that studies are completed according to timelines and to troubleshoot problems when they occur to ensure the highest level of client service
- Maintain accurate records in multiple internal databases
- Manage client expectations with timely and relevant communications
- Work on other assignments as directed by Management
- Manage the transfer of all internal or external projects
- Prepare and manage detailed Gantt charts
- Prepare SOPs, protocols, data summaries and reports for ongoing studies
- Meeting management scheduling, agendas, minutes, actions, follow-up
- Detailed project planning, tracking and reporting of project progress
Education and Experience
- BSc Degree (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or pharmacology
- 1 -2 years relevant industry experience
- Working knowledge of cell and gene therapies and associated bioanalytics
- Position requires strong professional communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment are keys for success
