As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our events department in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events. Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including meetings, conferences, workshops, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation.
- Manage event calendars and timelines to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met.
- Assist in the development and production of event marketing materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
- Support event registration and attendee management processes, including handling inquiries and managing databases.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure events are innovative and engaging.
- Provide on-site event support, including set-up, registration, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
