Job description

IST Management is seeking an IF Audit Specialist to join the on-site Norwalk, CT team! The IF Audit Specialist is responsible for being a primary point of contact for audit reconciliation for approved dealers with RPO and DORF lines. The IF audit specialist will deliver exceptional service levels, mitigating risk by verifying possession of rental assets and ensuring robust portfolio control. With commitment to Internal Control, the IF Audit Specialist accepts the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the internal control system associated with the essential duties and responsibilities of the functional areas that the IF Audit Specialist manages.

 

 

Working Hours:

Hours may vary and require evening work depending on business needs and may require working overtime

 

Compensation and Benefits

This position will be compensated with an annual salary of $55,000.00 - $55,000.00. IST Management offers full benefits plan options, including: medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life, 401K, paid time off, pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, and Bonus Incentives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the IF Audit Specialist includes: (List in order of time spent)

 

· Obtain and verify all necessary documents for requests to move assets from Inventory Finance lines to Rent to Own (RPO) and Dealer Owned Fleet (DORF) lines

· Confirm possession of asset with end user for existing rental asset on RPO and DOFR lines in compliance with internal procedures

· Upload rental documents to the Onbase and Wholesale systems ensuring the Compass system properly reflects the correct status and notes.

· Identify and escalate problematic situations as they arise, communicating frequently with the Funding & Operations Manager and the Risk team

· Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal staff, members of the Vendor Service team and other business units

· Perform other job duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

· Strong Microsoft Office skills

· Highly organized, detail oriented self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision

· Desire to work within a team environment, positive attitude

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

 

Education and Experience:

· College degree or equivalent experience preferred

 

Licensing and Certification:

· None

 

Tools and Equipment Used:

· Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment

 

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None

 

Travel:

· Minimal, as needed for business needs.

 

Physical Demands:

· Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment

· Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.

· Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person

· Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another
