Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

The successful candidate will lead the management and execution of heavy civil projects with expertise in wet and dry utilities, site concrete, grading, and asphalt paving.
Job Summary: As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing heavy civil construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing various scopes of work, including wet and dry utilities, site concrete, grading, and asphalt paving. A Civil Engineering degree and a Professional Engineer license are preferred.
Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to optimize project efficiency.

Scope Management:
- Manage and coordinate various scopes of work, including wet and dry utilities, site concrete, grading, and asphalt paving.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Client Communication:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns, providing regular project updates, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and expectations.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any quality issues promptly.

Budget Monitoring:
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of wet and dry utilities, site concrete, grading, and asphalt paving.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management for heavy civil construction projects.
