Job description
Production Responsibilities
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met onsite and offsite. This includes use of appropriate Personal Protection Equipment by all team members, utility lines marked, and adhering to building and safety regulations.
- Meet production goals and work in a cooperative environment with co-workers, crew leaders, and managers to understand and meet the production and qualitative standards set by the company.
- Visit job sites on a regular basis, observing organization of work, identifying, and resolving training issues and taking necessary actions to ensure quality.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively using the company’s technical software (Aspire).
- Supervise/train/work with the crew(s).
- Schedule jobs.
- Expert knowledge of landscape production products, mowing, problem solving, and horticultural best practices.
- Filling out and complete paperwork properly for billing and payroll – monitor job costs, allocate materials, and strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment and contribute to its upkeep, maintenance, organization, and storage.
- Supervise/train snow and ice removal on commercial properties (remove snow by shovel or plow, spread salt to clean sidewalks and parking lots).
- Serve as the liaison between sales, client, and crew.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in landscaping and mowing experience,
- Supervisory experience with crews as a manager, foreman, or crew leader, at least 2 years.
- Proven working experience in landscape management, at least 1 year.
Other Requirements
· Valid driver’s license (capability to be insured to drive company vehicles) with trailer experience
· Pass drug screen and sufficient background check
Work hours
- Available to work 7 am - 5 pm, April through November.
- Available to work 24 hours a week, December through February; start time 8:00 AM.
- March hours will vary.
- Snow and Ice Management required and will be paid additional hourly earnings (restricted hours); must be available 24/7 during snow contracted months to coordinate, plow or salt when needed.
