Communications Construction Supervisor

Job description

• • Responsible for checking the quality of work performed on construction sites and remedying quality as necessary
  • Provide direction to staff to ensure efficient and cost effective operation within approved operating budgets
  • Responsible for total management of assigned staff. This includes hiring, disciplining, training and supervision of employees
  • Coordinate construction plans with crews and sub-contractors
  • Complete and maintain all necessary project paperwork
  • Communicate with management on project progress and developments
  • Serve as liaison between the Company, customers and utilities
  • Responsible for ordering and tracking construction materials
  • May lay-out and design construction maps, and work from the maps of others
  • Responsible to identify unsafe/hazardous conditions for self, other employees, customers, and the general public
  • Adhere to all established company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience

• • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have at least five (5) years experience as a communications construction supervisor
  • Must possess a valid drivers license with 2 years driving experience and a clear driving record
  • Must have good customer relations and communication skills
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Must have RF & OSP construction experience
  • Be self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
  • Must be willing to travel
