The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has played a vital role in shaping Ohio’s past and present and the work it does today helps chart the state’s future. The office consists of nearly 30 distinct sections that advocate for consumers and victims of crime, assist the criminal justice community, provide legal counsel for state offices and agencies, and enforce certain state laws. In these and other capacities, staff members interact with tens of thousands of Ohioans each year.
What You'll Do:
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a position in the Finance Section. This position will work a hybrid remote/in-person schedule (will be required in office during the training period, and then 3-4 days a week in office after training). There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is at 30 E. Broad St Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or related field and three (3) years of professional experience researching, analyzing, and making recommendations, OR providing consultation to management on fiscal or operational matters, or matters pertaining to public or business administration. A master’s degree in a related field of study may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
Exceptional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or related field and five (5) years of professional experience researching, analyzing, and making recommendations, OR providing consultation to management on fiscal or operational matters, or matters pertaining to public or business administration. A master’s degree in a related field of study may be substituted for one (2) years of the required experience. An exceptional candidate will have a demonstrated track record in leading projects and problem solving independently.
