Job description
Job Summary
The Pierre Clubhouse Hotel & Suites is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Agent to join its team. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the guests - welcoming guests in a friendly manner, providing knowledgeable and accurate information about the hotel’s services and amenities, and ensuring that all guests’ needs are addressed efficiently and in a timely fashion.
Compensation & Benefits
In return for the high level of customer service that the Front Desk Agent will provide, substantial compensation and benefits will be offered. This includes competitive hourly wages, flexible hours, health insurance, vacation, and 401k benefits.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon their arrival at the hotel and provide them with any information requested
- Provide exceptional customer service, accommodating guests’ needs when possible
- Handle phone calls, faxes, emails, and all other forms of communication
- Register incoming guests, assigning the most suitable guestroom
- Assist guests in making restaurant reservations and plan other events
- Collect payments, prepare and validate invoices, and issue change, credit, or receipts
- Make sure all systems and data are kept up to date
- Monitor supplies and notify management when replenishment is necessary
- Keep track of the hotel's occupancy rate
- Keep accurate records of guest accounts
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
