Kelly® is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to work at a premier client in Louisville, KY. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community. The shift is First shift and the pay rate is $18-$20 depending on experience.
What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
• Inspecting in-process, finished products, components, and assemblies for accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications.• Inspecting in-process prepped components for future assembly.
• Utilizing Calipers, Micrometers & Various Measurement Tools for inspection and specification accuracy.
• Determining acceptance or rejection criteria, recording and notifying management of issues, and reporting inspection data.
• Performing quality audits to ensure processes, procedures, and quality systems are being followed.
• Performing calibration on inspection hand tools.
• Reading and interpreting materials such as work orders, inspection manuals, and bill of materials to determine inspection and test requirements.
• Assisting Quality Engineer with initiating engineering change requests.
• Assisting Quality Engineer with corrective action requests.
• Compiling non-conforming material reports at the direction of Quality Engineer.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of 4 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
• Are familiar with Quality System requirements such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
. • Have experience inspecting assemblies with multiple component parts.
• Can complete required quality inspection reports regarding in-process and completed work
. • Can perform work in a timely manner while prioritizing quality.
