Huntingdon Behavioral Health was founded over 30 years ago to provide psychiatric and psychology care to Floridians in desperate need of diagnoses and high quality treatment of mental illnesses. This achievement of this goal is made possible because of our unique model of care, by which we assign psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and/or psychiatric nurse practitioners to each facility.

The Psychiatric APRN (PMHNP) will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within scope of practice & under supervision of their collaborative psychiatrist within the SNF, ALF, and long term care environments. The Psychiatric APRN differentiates psychiatric presentations of medical conditions from psychiatric disorders & arranges appropriate evaluation and follow-up. The Psychiatric APRN will collaborate with care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient's care plan.

Experience:

• Current Florida License as Psychiatrically Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (PMHNP)
• Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot
• Must be willing to travel site to site
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
• Current CPR certification
• Current valid Florida Driver's License
