Job Description
The Data Analyst will interpret data and turn it into information for the business to offer ways to measure and improve the account operations, thus affecting business decisions. The Data Analyst will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends. Once data has been gathered and interpreted, the Data Analyst will report through comprehensive study to the wider business and relevant colleagues.
The Data Analyst will research and use data to solve problems, forecast production capacity and financial outlook to optimize profit, minimize turnover, and streamline logistics
The Data Analyst will collect, process, and perform analysis of data and translate the numbers into business intelligence. The Daya Analyst will regulate, normalize, and calibrate data to extract that can be used alone or with other numbers and use charts, graphs, tables, and graphics to explain what the data mean across specific amounts of time or various departments.



Responsibilities
Work closely with account leadership, project managers & production managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics forecasts and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics
Develop and maintain SQL databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make the data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets
Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
Identify, collect, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Support and contribute to data collection efforts, as needed
Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels
Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency
Monitor system performance, data integrity and usage metrics
Identify patterns and trends in data sets
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards

Required skills and qualifications
Three or more years of experience as a data analyst
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, (or equivalent)
Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
Strong SQL, Power BI and Excel skills and experience, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Independent and self-directed
Strong verbal skills: Can prepare and deliver effective presentations to customer and business audiences without assistance
Strong written skills: Can write professional documents for customer and business leaders
Broad experience with analysis in logistics or manufacturing/production environments is a plus
