Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge of business analysis techniques, extensive technical expertise supporting various applications, data processes, and technologies, and experience in the healthcare IT environment. This role will involve creating requirements and design documents, managing third-party vendors, and ensuring compliance with NIST security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize business analysis techniques to create comprehensive requirements and design documents for IT projects.
- Provide technical expertise and support for a wide range of applications, data processes, and technologies, including Java, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, and SaaS Cloud.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, SQL Queries, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and ADA compliance standards to ensure the quality and accessibility of IT solutions.
- Ensure compliance with NIST security standards and work with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) data.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and effectively manage IT projects from initiation to implementation.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to manage relationships, coordinate project activities, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain epics, use cases, stories, features, and testing methodologies, including functional, system, integration, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build and maintain effective relationships with management, end-users, project team members, and vendors, providing excellent customer service and communication.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite, Visio, MS Project, and other project management and collaboration tools to support project activities.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Professional certification in IIBA, Six Sigma, or TOGAF preferred, or a minimum of 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in IT application implementations or systems support.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Business, System, and Data Analysis or related roles in the healthcare IT environment.
- Extensive experience in business analysis and data analysis within business application implementations or IT software development projects.
- Proficient in technical skills, including data analysis and visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
