Job Description:
The University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatrics at the UF College of Medicine. Duties and responsibilities include serving as a clinical faculty member with primary duties compromised of patient care, clinical teaching, and clinical research. Clinical patient care involves treating pediatric gastroenterology patients within inpatient and outpatient settings at the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and other clinics/facilities located throughout Gainesville and in Tallahassee, Florida. Teaching duties involve teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and/or fellows in a clinical setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a MD degree or equivalent. Applicants must also possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical License + be BC/BE in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
