Schedule: 20 hours per week
Tuition Remission: 8 graduate credit hours of tuition remission during each semester of the award including the summer session and 4 credits over the J-term.

Description:
Carthage College's Center for Student Success (CSS) is seeking qualified applicants for a Special Populations and Projects Graduate Assistant position. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in a two-year graduate program at Carthage College and meet the position requirements below.
CSS facilitates students' successful transition to the College and supports ongoing academic success and persistence through graduation. Center for Student Success staff work closely with other college personnel to holistically address the academic, personal, and social needs of students, with particular focus on supporting underrepresented/underserved student populations. CSS supports students using a data-informed, comprehensive approach which leverages the expertise, influence, and resources of campus partners to support student learning and remove barriers to students' success.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : The Graduate Assistant for Special Populations and Projects will support the Assistant Dean for Student Success and Wellness and CSS Staff with tasks related to special populations and projects. Duties may include, but not be limited to assisting with:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree is required. Admission into Carthage College's graduate program is required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
