Job description
Established in 1993, CIBA Insurance Services offers a unique insurance program that has become the benchmark for providing commercial property owners and managers with broad commercial coverage for property and liability risk protection. The Associate Attorney handles lessors risk and general liability matters for CP Law Group, an in-house litigated claims defense firm for CIBA Insurance Services.
Responsibilities and Duties: - Ability to manage a full caseload
- Draft pleadings and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Successfully participate in mediation
- Argue motions/oppositions at court hearings
- First-chair trials and arbitrations
- Some travel will be required
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6-8 years in practice
- Licensed in Florida required
- Credentials from an ABA-approved law school preferred
