Position Description:
The Town of Concord is seeking a 19hr/wk GIS Technician to perform field data collection, work with geospatial datasets, and administrative work in support of the daily operation of the Town’s departments. Duties include updating and maintaining geographic data sets and occasionally working on digital maps with geographic data and various other data sets. Position requires knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software and working with file geodatabases; experience using ArcGIS Online applications is desirable. Great opportunity to gain experience in supportive and stable work environment. Willing to provide on-the-job training for less experienced candidates with the right skill set. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient with MS Office. This position is funded through June 30 and potentially beyond.
