Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Kirksville, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Have the opportunity to work alongside the GM/Head Professional to further their career into the PGA and golf industry. This position will be given access to all facets of the club, including tournaments, coaching, leagues, lessons, club repair, rules of golf, merchandising, accounting and more.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day member satisfaction including check-in, starting, marshaling, range and cart organization.
• Hiring, training and supervision of golf shop staff.
• Tournament setup and operations.
• Conducting a successful junior program.
• Individual and group instruction.
• Work closely with sales reps to gain knowledge of the products offered and develop inventory buying plans.
Requirements:
Posess a strong desire to become a PGA Apprentice or continue education towards PGA Membership.
Prior golf shop work experience preferred.
Compensation:
$28,000.00 – $30,000.00 per year.
