Job description
The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Fitness Instructor . Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your fitness know-how and skills in decision making, problem solving and dealing with the public? We are currently hiring Fitness Instructors that have an interest in Boot Camp classes for our early morning time slot, typically 5:30 am. Our Fitness Instructors earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $21.00 - $26 hourly, depending on experience.
As part of our Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in providing fitness instruction to groups and individuals. Generally, you'll teach a few classes each week, including helping out when a substitute teacher is needed.
As a Fitness Instructor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
